Welcome to the Avenue

My very first post for ERA's new blog. How exciting! Having some experience with the blogging world I do realize that I may be just writing this post to myself for the time being, but I'm good with that reality. Things always pick up eventually, and I will keep at it until it does. So I will start this party off by explaining my intention for this site.

Erica Rose Avenue's Blog will be used as a venue for all things art related in my life. My own fine art work and paintings, as well as my handmade items featured in my Etsy shop Erica Rose Avenue. I will be showing off my favorite items from Etsy, and treasuries I have put together made up from other fabulous Etsy shops... a great guide for all who need some help finding the "good stuff" on Etsy.com.

I have had some great luck with treasuries in the past. In My first shop, Blue Canary Design, a treasury I created "Black White and Rad all Over" made it to the Front Page within 1 week of creating, and during Christmas! It was my second time curating a treasury.

That was last year, and now with my new shop working it's way along, after taking a year off revamping my old store (which is still a work in progress) the treasury "Cuddle Up"  was featured on EtsyLush.com last week. Pretty good for a simple gal. So I decided it may be a good idea to include them for you all to see and enjoy.
